Equestrian sport in India is increasing in momentum – the number of sport horses imported from Europe is constantly growing and at last year´s Asian Games India had a team in all three Equestrian disciplines – dressage, show jumping and eventing. The breeding of sport horses is also gaining popularity and the first warmblood foals have been bred and born in India. Both imported stallions and mares are used for breeding with the goal of producing sport horses for all Equestrian sports. The Sporthorse Studbook India LLP will offer breeding consultancy, register warmblood foals, issue passports, organize foal events, mare registration events, stallion approvals, auctions, sales events and workshops. Furthermore a quarterly studbook magazine, the Equestrian Times will be issued by the studbook.
